미카(MIKA): 미카는 미국인 아버지와 레바논 어머니 사이에 태어났습니다.
그래서인지 중동적인 마스크가 물씬 풍기는 독특한 외모의 뮤지션 입니다.
어린시절 레바논 내전 때문에 프랑스로 이주 했고 아버지의 걸프전 참전 이후로 영국에서 살았습니다. 불안한 어린시절 때문에 난독증으로 홈스쿨링까지 했지만 영국 로열 음악대학에 입학해 오페라를 공부하게 됩니다.
그후 오페라, CM음악등 여러 음악을 작곡해오면서 그 실력을 인정받았고 타인의 상업적 요구에 의한 음악을 더이상 만들고 싶지 않아서 그 자신만의 앨범을 발표하기에 이릅니다.
